About this Plan

Aramis. Radio control sport trainer model. Wingspan 58 in.

Direct submission to Outerzone.

Quote: "Hi Steve and Mary, I’m here again with a plan contribution of my own making. It is a reworked version of the Aramis (oz15728) plan, done in CAD with some alterations to the parts to make the model easier to build, amongst others by substituting wooden parts for the vacformed plastic parts of the original kit. All necessary parts are shown on separate PDF files. The story behind this nostalgia build is documented on a dedicated page on my website: http://avonds.com/Aramis.htm
Best regards,
Philip Avonds"

Hi Steve, The Aramis has flown in the mean time and I have these two in flight pictures (taken by my son Michel) to add [pics 009, 010]. Best regards,

What a lovely looking model, Philip. And so nice to see one of this size without ailerons. It's on my build list (which is rather long!) and at such a low finished weight it should fly nicely with an OS 26FS.

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
