Boston Jet (oz15954)
About this Plan
Boston Jet. Rubber sport model. Pusher prop layout. Wingspan 16 in. Uses foam construction.
Quote: "The Boston Jet is designed as an outdoor Bostonian (16 inch span, minimum weight 14 gram). The finished model weighs 16 gram and flies 1 minute on a 60 cm loop of 3 mm rubber. The model is loosely based on the F-15, F-17 and F-18 fighters but is not a scale model. The twin rudders can be mounted vertically as on the F-15, in that case the rudders must not be mounted at an angle as shown on the top view."

Doh. Fixed now. Thanks.

Since this design is ONLY 17 years old, would anyone care to suggest a suitable replacement for the DEPRON used in the design? TIA

Balsa sheet, perhaps? I don't think we need to be too fastidious about materials. It's entirely possible that modellers of yore would have used depron if they could lay their hands on it.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
