Vagrant (oz15872)
About this Plan
Vagrant. Radio control aerobatic slope soarer model. Wingspan 39 in.
Quote: "Vagrant Ref: SM0021: After the success of the Mini Metro (oz15782) we were inspired to design a more sporty version with ailerons. Originally there was going to be a T tail version called the Varmint. Whilst a prototype was built it never went into production. The Vagabond (oz15878) and Vagrant were so popular that when we decided to start re kitting some of our original designs both were near the top of the list. Span 39in (990mm).
If you are looking for a model with a performance that turns heads, performs three vertical rolls from a dive then Vagabond (oz15878) is for you. If you prefer a more conventional layout with a little less bite then it is the Vagrant. Either way you are in for a lot of fun. These light, quick build models, which feature all balsa/ply construction, will easily fit in the boot of a typical family car fully assembled. Convenient for holidays! Uses mini Rx with standard size servos / Ni-cads.
Specification:
Span: 975mm
Controls: Aileron Elevator
Av. Wt: 500gms
Section: Flat Bottom E205"

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
