Sierra Mk2 (oz15808)
About this Plan
Sierra Mk2. Radio control sport aerobatic slope soarer model. Wingspan 63 in.
Quote: "Sierra Ref: SM0014: The Sierra was a very popular sports aerobatic sloper, that for us, put the fun back into slope soaring. At the time we were flying models with a fully symetrical wing section. In poor lift conditions these models did not perform, yet the Sierra with an Eppler 374 semi-symmmetrical section could do almost everything a model with a fully symetrical section could do - but in much lighter lift conditions. Span 63in (1600mm).
The Sierra Mk2 is an attractive, no frills, second stage aileron trainer that has a wide following. Recently up-graded, construction now features a ply sided fuselage with foam veneer to wings make Sierra Mk2 even quicker and easier to build. Docile handling characteristics with the ability to stay up in light winds and a full aerobatic repertoire make the Sierra Mk2 a pleasure to fly and fly.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
