About this Plan

Mini Metro. Radio control aerobatic slope soarer model. Wingspan 39 in.

Quote: "Mini Metro Ref: SM008: The Mini Metro is a simple rudder elevator sports model that is a lot of fun to fly. Designed circa 1983. Span 39in (990mm).

Put the fun back in your flying with this little model that has a truly sparkling performance which is out of proportion to it's size. Highly manoeuvrable and aerobatic it performs spectacular 'flick rolls', lands on a pocket handkerchief and requires only a light wind to fly. The simple, all balsa construction, is both rugged and practical and will take a lot of punishment. The model uses standard size R/C equipment and will fit, fully assembled, in the boot of most family cars.

Specification:
Span: 950 mm
Controls: Rudder Elevator
Av. Wt: 675gms
Section: Flat Bottom"

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
