Carrera (oz15727)
About this Plan
Carrera. Radio control aerobatic slope soarer model.
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Quote: "Carrera Ref: SM004: The Carrera is an attractive swept wing sports aerobatic sloper with a midmounter all-moving tailplane. At the time it was designed it was one of the quicker models on the slope, particularly when loaded with lead! Span 63in (1600mm).
The Carrera with its swept lines, all moving tailplane and sleek shape is a real eye catcher. It is quick, will stay up in all but the lightest of winds and is very aerobatic. Although not recommended as an aileron trainer it is still a relatively easy model to fly. The conventional construction features the usual foam veneer wing with ply sided fuselage and balsa top and bottom.
Specification:
Span: 1590mm
Controls: Rudder/Elevator/Aileron
Av Wt. 1000gms
Section: Eppler 374 (Semi-Symmetrical)"

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
