Pronto. Radio control sport model. Wingspan 48 in, for .09 to .23 engines.
The Pronto (oz1740) was first published in MAN, August 1972. This here is the Pronto as later kitted by Tidewater hobbies.
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Quote: "Steve, here is an addition to the listing for Dave Robelen's Pronto. A scan of the full size plan from the Tidewater Hobby Enterprises kit. I don't know if it is usable, the original was in very poor condition [fixed now]."

I flew many Prontos back in the day, a popular kit in the 70's. They flew very well if built according to the plan. Some builders decreased the ample dihedral to make it look better. Bad move. It needs every bit of the recommended dihedral or it won't turn with rudder only. If you add ailerons, you can do what you want.Doug Smith - 17/12/2024

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
