About this Plan

Messerschmitt Me-329 V1. Free flight scale model, twin pusher layout, for rubber power. Wingspan 38 in.

Direct submission to Outerzone.

Quote: "Mary & Steve, Here's my latest plan. I was browsing the net looking for a unique flying wing. I'm partial to Warbirds and found the prototype of Messerschmitt Me-329 v1 twin pusher flying wing, looks like the Me-163 Komet only bigger. I've been following Tom Hallman's spinoff of Pres Bruning's Boeing 306 with the Boeing 306c twin pusher. His videos of the model on YouTube are fantastic. Just type in Maxfliart's Boeing 306c and you'll find several videos of his build, 1st flight and many more as he has trimmed it for max flights! Here's a direct link to one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFH0r31S3u8

Well I've followed many of Tom's plan pointers using Don Srull's Lippich/Messerschmitt P-13 ribs. This plan hasn't been built yet but another one on the to do list! So many plans so little time! Thanks for considering this plan.
Regards,
Tom Akery/Sky9pilot

ScaleType: This (oz15611) is a scale plan. Where possible we link scale plans to Wikipedia, using a text string called ScaleType.

If we got this right, you now have a couple of direct links (above) to 1. see the Wikipedia page, and 2. search Oz for more plans of this type. If we didn't, then see below.

    Notes:
ScaleType is formed from the last part of the Wikipedia page address, which here is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_Me_329
Wikipedia page addresses may well change over time.
For more obscure types, there currently will be no Wiki page found. We tag these cases as ScaleType = NotFound. These will change over time.

Holy daffodil, Tom, another fine plan on an uncommon subject! Your comments are interesting as well.
I'm still waiting for a dated plan list on the FFA, but it appears I have to find a comfier sofa :-D

Miguel,
I've decided to add an additional page for each year in the coming years. The first page covers plans from my first to the year 2023. Page two covers the plans I've drawn in 2024. Hope this helps.

Hi Tom, as the saying goes, you are a modeller and a gentleman! With each subsequent page meaning a new year, it is my hope you'll be able to add many of them. Until the Maya calculate a new date for the end of the world at least :)

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
