About this Plan

Lil Dip. Nordic A-1 glider model. Wingspan 48-3/4 in. Wing area 223 sq in.

Direct submission to Outerzone.

Quote: "Steve, I found this Lil Dip kit, with enough parts to build two wings. One will end up as a e-powered Skylane! As a kid in the 60s, I had unknowingly learned the art of wing warping with my covering work.. I just hadn't come to understand the consequences. So for the several tow line jobs I'd built and tried to fly, let's just say the learning CURVE was anything but STRAIGHT-FORWARD! LOL But it's never too late to try again, (with some un-warping as needed!) Hoping others will reply and post their photos.. Looks like a nice plane (which had very clean die-cuts btw).
Best Wishes to you and Mary, and Kudos on such a wonderful site!!

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
