Dear outerzone-Team, the pdf-file of the "Chantez" RC-glider (PlanID 15466) seems to be corrupted or incomplete. I've tried to load it with several different applications, and after several downloads of your pdf-file.Many thanks in advance.

Works for me. I mean it opens ok, and is not corrupted or incomplete. Just guessing here, but are you using an Apple device? See Help with Downloads for known issue with Apple failures.

My two cents : The PDF file takes a long time to load with xreader, Linux Mint's default PDF reader. But after ten seconds of waiting, it works fine. I have no idea why it takes so long. Is it the fineness and number of lines on the drawing? In any case, the Linux version of Firefox doesn't like this file. It can only load the second page. Try it with another browser or PDF reader. Cordially.

Yes, true, it is a large file in terms of total pixel size. Page size is 44.81 x 33.97 inches, at 600 dpi. That will be the issue, that will be the difference. I mean this always turns out to be the issue, it is always down to pixel size, in the end. Should we make files smaller? Lose detail? It is not a trivial question.

Many thanks for your comments and support. Indeed, it seems to be an apple issue. The pdf-file does not open, or shows only the second page with a mac running macOS 10.14 Mojave. On a mac running macOS 12.3 Monterey the plan is displayed perfectly. Nice design and plan. Many thanks.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
