Hello David,I like the look of this model, I expect it will be a real 'floater'. Can you tell me what the wood thickness is for the ribs please ? It looks like the first wing bay should be sheeted ? What would be the thickness for this and the trailing edge please. I take it the C of G would be on the spar ? Thanks. Roger

Hi Roger, W1A are 1/8, center top section covered in 1/16, all other ribs 1/16. Trailing edge also 1/16. It is light and a real floater. C of G on or just back of the spar depending on how you fly. I hope this helps.

Hello again David, I'm well into the build on this model now having laser cut it. Could you give me your suggested dihedral measurements on the centre and outer panels please ? Thanks.
Roger K - 24/09/2024
Every one in the pix has a different dihedral. Mine has a poly dihedral and the gold one has a flat center section and tip dihedral. I left it up to the individual to decide sorry.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
