Beechcraft D17 (oz15438)The description on the plan indicates that it is a CL model. Looking at the plan there is a guide on the wing strut to accommodate the CL wires. However, the listing of the plan states that it is a FF model. As an aside, it appears to have been specifically designed for the Morton M5 engine. Cool!

a - 105 wing ribs, set at 3/4in or less. That's a whole lot of ribs!!!
b - This hand-crafted plan/tracing is a labour of love. It's a bit late to thank the authors, but in time to thank Circlip and Fritz :)

This model was designed to use the Morton M-5 radial engine. I've seen 20 years ago a replica of this engine in action made by a friend of mine specialized in old timer engines replicas.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
