About this Plan

Buck Rogers Starfighter. Simple all sheet pusher model.

Direct submission to Outerzone.

Quote: Steve and Mary, I was reviewing my Angel Interceptor (oz15392) plan and the comments and as things go, I decided to rough out a quick plan of Buck Rogers' Starfighter based on the Pusher Galore SST (oz7517). So here is a sheet balsa Starfighter built like the Pusher Galore. All 1/16" sheet balsa except the 1910 'A' frame twin pusher. I encourage anyone who would build this model to study the Pusher Galore Plane for details.

I think this might be a fun flyer. It's span is 27 inches, so 7 too wide for FAC Fiction Flyer but could be easily reduced to 20 inches. I just wanted to add this to my plan section on FreeFlightArchive.com just for fun.

It was 90 degrees today in the Pacific Northwest which is not what we're used to. So I sat in front of the fan and drew this plan. Hope y'all enjoy this one as a fun flyer that maybe the kids might enjoy trying to fly her. You might want to round the front tips of the gun pods to make her a bit safer for the kids and others around the flying site.
Regards,
Tom Akery/Sky9pilot"

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
