About this Plan
Little Tom Tom. Control line sport model.
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Quote: "Hi Mary, I did this Veco Little Tom Tom plan in CAD from a kit I recently acquired. I hope you can post it along with a scan of the kit instructions and a color scheme I did in Photoshop.
Veco offered the Little Tom Tom control line kit in the '60s. It was a downsized version of their larger .19-size Tom Tom that had a 41" wingspan. I built my Little Tom Tom when I was in high school, and it flew pretty well for a 1/2A-size plane. A few months ago, I found a complete kit on eBay, made this CAD plan from it and intend to scratch-build another. The span is 26 inches, and it's set up for a Cox .049 Golden Bee which had the tank vented so it could fly inverted. I do not know if the model in the black-and-white picture on the kit box was red, white and blue but it fits well.
Thanks for all the work you do to produce the fabulous Outerzone website! Regards,"

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
