About this Plan
Stunt P-51 Mustang. Control line stunt model.
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Quote (google translated): "The P-51 Mustang is the product of the experiences of a staff made up of the best aerobatic model designers. It is a semi-scale reproduction of the very famous American fighter and in designing it we followed the lines of the real plane as faithfully as possible without neglecting the exact rules of a perfect aerobatic.
Start building your P-51 Mustang from the wing; glue the wing drawing to the section. A-A and place it on a surface. Join and glue the leading edge (13) with no. 9 and the trailing edge (15) with no. 12. Now place the 6x6 balsa spars (14) on the drawing and insert all the ribs, checking the exact position on the drawing (the ribs have protrusions at the bottom for exact alignment.
Now fit the leading edge and exit, align everything perfectly and finally insert the upper spars (14). Join the lower spars with No. 11 and the upper ones with No. 10 in the center by gluing. Now glue all the joints.
When the glue is perfectly dried, detach the wing from the surface, glue the details n. 5-6-7-8- in position, then prepare the square n. 19 with the appropriate tie rods and fix it with the appropriate screw to the No. 11. Glue the supports of the carriage No. 20 into position, checking all the details of the drawing, then proceed to covering the central part of the wing with balsa board.
Sand everything carefully and after gluing onto the half-wing external 15 grams of lead (P) proceed to cover it with paper. Glue the covering then moisten it with water and once dry, apply two coats of diluted glue.
Sand and profile the flaps n. 16-17, fix the sheets together with the appropriate bracket, checking the design, then proceed to hinging the wing using the appropriate hinges no. 18. At the same time you will also have built the horizontal tail plane using the same system as the wing. Now begin construction of the fuselage. Strongly glued to the sides n. 36 reinforcements n. 37 and the engine support rails. Insert the tank and glue the frames no. 22-23..."

ScaleType: This (oz15152) is a scale plan. Where possible we link scale plans to Wikipedia, using a text string called ScaleType.
If we got this right, you now have a couple of direct links (above) to 1. see the Wikipedia page, and 2. search Oz for more plans of this type. If we didn't, then see below.
Notes:
ScaleType is formed from the last part of the Wikipedia page address, which here is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_P-51_Mustang
Wikipedia page addresses may well change over time.
For more obscure types, there currently will be no Wiki page found. We tag these cases as ScaleType = NotFound. These will change over time.
Corrections? Use the correction form to tell us the new/better ScaleType link we should be using. Thanks.

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
