Quote: "Hi again Steve and Mary - One more plan attached: From my original 1948 plan donated to me from the G. Peck estate - the SNAFU MAGICIAN 1948 control line stunter.
The AMECO and MAGICIAN models I'm sure are very rare and will be wonderful to see these designs not forgotten... Thanks!

I built one of these in 1976 from the 3-view in Ron Warring's 1948(?) book 'Stunt Control Line Flying'. I flew it in the inaugural Fireball Trophy at Old Warden, powered by an old 1959 McCoy .19 (I think it was originally intended for a McCoy Sportsman .35!), and found it a pleasant sport/stunt model that gave me a couple of years of fun flying until something got dropped on it in my garage. A very good design for its day.

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
