Originally kitted in the 1930s by Peerless. This here is a later reprint from Golden Age.

Quote: "General Instructions For Assembly: Construction begins with the fuselage. Cut the formers from the printed wood and sand them to the center of the printed line. Make two fuselage sides as outlined on the side view. These must be exact size.

Next cut cross braces from the 1/16 sq stock using the top view plan as a guide. Now assemble the two sides with the cross braces, setting these in at 'X' on the side view. Glue in all diagonal braces when making the sides. Cement in the formers according to their numbers, connect them with the stringers.

Sand the entire fuselage when completed smoothing off any uneven joints which cause the paper to wrinkle. This also applies to the rest of the construction.

Wing building is much the same as the fuselage in that all parts are tut out, sanded, and assemb-led using the plan as a guide.

Covering is easy if the framework is sanded smooth, as mentioned above. Use Tissue Cement as the adhesive, working with a small brush. Paper is applied with the grain running from tip to tip on the wings and from nose to tail on the fuselage Use small pieces of tissue, making neat laps wherever a break occurs in the lines of the structure. Use separate pieces of paper between formers on the fuselage. Always cover the model's separate parts before assembly, adding all details such as license numbers, cabin windows, etc.

Test the completed model by gliding. If it stalls, noses up, weight the front, just inside the nose-block with short pieces of wire solder, etc, to enable the plane to make a smooth easy glide. The bottom of the fuselage at the front may be left uncovered for a time to facilitate this. Wind the rubber, then about 150 turns, let the plane go at low altitude for more testing..."
