About this Plan

Easy Eagle. Radio control sailplane model. Wingspan 78-1/2 in, wing area 648 sq in.

Quote (from 1980s advert): "The Easy Eagle. Easy to get along with at any skill level. If enjoying the fantastic world of R/C soaring is what you want, the Easy Eagle is for you; whether you are starting on your first plane, are an experienced sport pilot, or are a seasoned, competition-oriented veteran needing the latest technology to keep up.

A new breed computer generated and wind tunnel tested SD7032 airfoil equipped with flaps, gives the Easy Eagle its wide range of performance, ideal for a thermal sailplane. Flaps on this sturdy wing allow you to maximize gorilla launches quickly seek and stay in the lightest lift, hang on a wing tip in turns, and slow to a walk to nail the spot on landing.

Other features include high prefabrication for quick assembly, gapless hinge lines for clean airflow, bolt-on wing, and complete hardware.

Like the name implies, this airplane is really easy to get along with, no matter what your skill level. To get your new Easy Eagle, check with your local dealer first. If he does not have one or cannot obtain one, you can order direct from Ace (add $3.00 P&H). "

This kit came with an instruction manual, if anyone has it it would be a great addition to this listing. Dave

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
