Propellor Hub (oz14731)
About this Plan
Propellor Hub. CAD-designed propellor hub. Note there are two versions, for either a 2 blade or 3 blade hub.
Note the original drawings here are the CAD zip download (in stp format). Those are the files that Matthias sent us, and those are his design, his work. The main PDF file you see here is just a taster, a PDF file in this slot for Oz users who don't have a CAD viewer.
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Quote: "Dear Mary and Steve, concerning the Gee Bee QED II (oz14695) there was the question regarding the hub unit.
Find enclosed a step file, neutral CAD format, for 2 and 3 blade hub asy. See pictures for details and principle. The original blades were milled from wood and attached with an excentric bolt to adjust the prop pitch.
The 3D parts show a version that fits to the Moki 150ccm, see Gee Bee QED II (oz14695). Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Matthias

This would rate a "splendid!", but as it comes from Matze it rates an "as usual" :)Miguel - 09/08/2023

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
