Quote: "Hi Steve & Mary promised I share with You the Rodeo plans, a real blockbuster in Italy in the "good old days" and elder brother of the Rodeino (oz14649). I enclose some related stuff hoping it may be useful. Cordially, Armando Argano"

Quote: "U-Control model for training, combat and acrobatic purposes. Engines from .15 to .29 cu. in. Designed by champions Marco & Fabio Contini, this fabulous model has won several national and international stunt and combat contests. The construction is extremely simple and has been thoroughly studied in every detail. The kit contains all balsawood parts perfectly die-cut and shaped, tank, preformed landing gear, rubber wheels, preformed control rod, transparent cockpit canopy, decals, full-size drawing with step-by-step building instructions, etc. Wingspan 39 inches."

Note see also supplement alternate plan for a small drawing that appeared in Aeromodeller Annual 1958.

Update 31/7/2023: Added 2016 Rodeo Revival VVC doc - and pic 006 - thanks to Pit.

Quote: "In this invitational to a Rodeo Revival contest of 2016 you can see in the second photo Fabio Contini, the designer with model in hands and Carlo Bergamaschi the owner of Olympic company that kitted the Rodeo, probably the most common u-control kit for advanced stunt trainer. Pit"

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
