Jitterbug (oz14600)
About this Plan
Jitterbug. Rubber cabin duration model.
Direct submission to Outerzone.
As requested on the Wanted page :)
Planfile includes build instructions.
Quote: "The first step towards the construction of any model is to lay out the plan and study it carefully. Read the instructions and check with the plan and notes. You should form a clear picture in your mind of just what you have to do, and in this manner many mistakes can be avoided.
Pin the plan to a flat board and start the construction by slicing the longerons as indicated on the side view of the fuselage. Cut the fuselage uprights two at a time for speed and accuracy. Place thin transparent waxed paper over the plan and pin the 3/32 sq longerons in position. Do not push the pins through the wood, but place them on both sides..."
Update 8/9/2024: Added printwood scan (2x sheets of 1/16), thanks to George Bredehoft.
Supplementary file notes
Printwood.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
