The 2x6 kit uses the same wing parts, only they shortened the wing down to six feet instead of the two meter. In my 2x6 kit, the dowels needed to be cut down as they were the same exact length as the 2x2 wing. I have built both kits and still have the plans for both planes.

That tail boom, IMHO, needs to be wider or made out of unobtainium. Or at least reinforced with something. I don't see a material called out for the spar caps. Suggest spruce, fir, boxwood, etc. for the middle section, hard balsa for the tips. The caps are very generously sized. The lower ones could probably be 3/32" thick or even 5/64". I built a Two Tee, which is a sibling or at least relative of this model. If I recall correctly, the shear webs would fail in rolling shear in crashes, or maybe just really hard landings. It would be best if they were in between the two spars, still with vertical grain. Possibly, using horizontal grain webs glued to the side of the caps would be better than vertical grain. A thinner shear web of a stronger material (at least in rolling shear) should be used if they're just going to be glued to the sides of the caps. 1/64" birch ply might be suitable. I assume it would still be too thick to buckle, but I could be wrong. Balsa webs in between the spar caps would be lighter and better, though. Maybe full width, i.e. 3/8" for a few of the middle bays in the center section.
On the Two Tee, which I built many years ago, I didn't know any better and filled in around the wing joiner tubes with CA. Epoxy and micro balloons wouid have been better. Or maybe vertical grain blocks of light wood with holes drilled in the right places, but that would be tricky.
