Quote: "Dear Steve and Mary: Wishing you are always very well, with a lot of mood and healt. Here we have a classic free flight glider kit plans from the late Casa Aerobras of São Paulo.
The 'EXTRAVIADOR SENIOR' was a glider kit from Casa Aerobras in São Paulo, with an estimated release date of around 1948/1950. It was a glider of simple construction, with a wingspan of 77 cm, but it always stood out as an excellent flyer. This excellent work of vectorization was courtesy of Cmdr Rodrigo Burgo from Londrina, original plan provided by Cmdr Cláudio Siqueira and shared in the group by Cmdr Edgard Rossi Alves. Thank you all for the excellent teamwork!
This plan was shared in the Facebook group "VOOLIVRISTAS PERSISTENTES", group that I recommend to all free flight enthusiasts"

Looks very similar to the Spanish glider Pelayo (oz11714) who is, in turn, one version of the German "Jungvolk". It's possible that both, the "Senior Extraviador" and the "Pelayo" share the the same origen.Valeria367 - 27/03/2023

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
