About this Plan
Gaviao. Free flight rubber model. Wingspan 840 mm.
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Quote: "Dear Steve and Mary, this time I'm sending a plan of true rarity - the original plan design for the "GAVIÃO" (means "Hawk" in Portuguese language) from 1943, a model that was sold by the very traditional and now sadly late CASA AEROBRAS from São Paulo.
Our thanks to Commanders Rodrigo Londrina and Cláudio Siqueira for their kindness in sharing this great work and also formatting and adjusting this plan, which is from 1943 and which has great historical importance in Brazilian model making. Congratulations Friends, may we always have that team spirit and kindness in our sport! Plan of Gavião of Casa Aerobrás, sent by Rodrigo's friend, Cmdte Claudio Siqueira in the free flight group on Facebook "VOOLIVRISTAS PERSISTENTES"
Congratulations to Rodrigo de Londrina for the cleaning work and adjustments to the original blueprint of this model, which dates back to 1943! My best wishes for Mary, Steve & Outerzone website"

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
