Quote: "Hello friends, I am sending you an extremely rare blueprint, printed in 1942. I spent many hours restoring them and cleaning the hand annotations. The plane was designed by Ion Bobocel, the man who later founded the Romanian Federation of Modeling.

The model aircraft is a motor glider with a gasoline engine, with a wingspan of 2500mm and a weight of ~2.3Kg. It has a weight ratio of ~32 g/dm2 which allows it to fly at a fairly low speed. It was intended for free flight, at that time there were no remote control stations.

The prototype took off in 1939 and spiraled to a height of over 1000m. After 30 minutes of flight, it disappeared from sight. It was recovered three weeks later by a farmer who found it in the field.

Over time, the model was made in several copies with different engines:
- Brawn 9.5 cmc, 4500 rpm, 0.2HP
- Eisfeld 7.5 cmc, 5500 rpm, 0.27HP
- Kratmo 10cmc, 6000 rpm, 0.35HP

Later, in the '90s, I adapted this plan for RC flight. The changes were small: I built a bed for a modern 10cc engine (which proved to be strong enough for this model), reduced the side angle of the engine to 1.5 degrees, gave up the double dihedral of the wing, built the wing from 2 pieces (for easier transport), and redesigned the landing gear (the original one was designed to protect the propeller when landing on rough terrain).The final weight of the ready-to-fly RC model was 3.3Kg.
