Kosmo 3. Radio control pattern plane, for electric power.

Note the 'original' drawing here is the CAD zip download (in dwg format). That's the file that Giuseppe sent us, and that is his design, his work. The PDF file you see here is really just a taster, a PDF file in this slot for Oz users who don't have a CAD viewer.

Quote: "Hi Mary, This is not a design of mine, but it has a more important origin, it was designed by one of the best Italian F3A pilot of 70-80 years vintage: Benito Bertolani. He is over 80 now but still 'playing' with model. He has taught some teenagers how to build and fly free flight models. His pupils participated with good placements in one of the last world championships.

The model is named Kosmo 3 and is still kitted by an Italian company, but, while many models were built from the kit, nobody, Benito too, has a 1:1 plan. So I had fun drawing up a new plan, with the help of Benito himself. While the original model and the one kitted are glow powered I draw Kosmo 3 as an electric powered model.

Enclosed are the plan and a few photos of the electric version with the colors of the original one. You can also see Benito signing the plan and holding it with me. Ciao"
