Streak (oz14276)
About this Plan
Streak. Radio control sport model, for electric power.
The Streak (oz10994) was first published in MAN Aug 1942. This here is a modern redrawn version for electric power and RC.
Quote: "Ted Just's STREAK. Model Airplane News, Aug 1942. Wingspan 56 in, wing Area 286 sq in. Redrawn for electric conversion R/C by C Griffiths, Jan 2022."
Quote: "This is a model that I drew up for electric conversion for one of the build-offs we had here. I thought because I had retired, that I'd have plenty of time for modeling.....Ya Right! Anyway, I built the fuse and the tail feathers but that's as far as I got. I figured that I'd submit my redrawn CAD version once I completed the model, but that's not happening in the near future, too many other projects. You'll notice that there's no CG on the plan, that's because I never figured out what motor I was going to power it with. Anyway, it built per the plan so far, but I never started the wing, so I hope that's correct."

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
