It seems like the elevator is missing on the drawing. Anybody able to help?

Look at the Fury (oz2804), the horizontal is on that plan. Different vertical shape so horizontal may actually be different than the Fury but you can get an idea for size at least. Hope someone with a kit in their stash can give the true shape.

Hi Douglas,
I am thinking the same way. The elevator´s chord is clearly visible on the plan. I guess 33% to 40% wingspan in relation to the main wing combined with a moderately trapezoidal shape (slightly more on the leading edge than the trailing edge, say 7° front, 2° rear) should get quite close to the real thing. Fuselage cross sections and the rest are quite obvious.
Cheers, Martin

Addendum: Comparison with the Fury (oz2804) and the Time Traveller (oz3773) of the same lineage confirm my guesses.

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
