Quote: "Steve and Mary, While this isn't the full plan, I'm working to get the bottom portion (the top view of the fuse). However a model could be produced from the file as is. I was amazed to see this model, when I'd never heard of it before. I've been around longer than the plan, but not by much. I think this was designed in 1954. Lou Andrews, of H-Ray (oz658) fame, did a lot of model designs and participated in many competitions. Guillows plans later attributed the design to another, but I believe this is the work of Lou Andrews, as it looks very much like his Trixter Beam (oz2864), and the smaller Vanguard (oz7918), which came later. A nice build log, and notes about how well it flies can be found on RCG. I'll replace this file ASAP if I get a full sheet. Many thanks for a great site!, Hobiepilot"

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
