No name, no year? Olivier, you are falling behind :) All right, this is an MRA plan, the overlays are modest enough but it is a small model anyway.
There was a war on, and, as it wasn't enough, an exploitative (at best) Occupation, so we further generations should be happy for any plans at all from those dark times. This had to go on for some time, the Marshall Plan hadn't given much thought to the modelling industry. So when we grumble about confusing plans we should give a thought for those who kept the spirit alive.

sorry not to be dense but what does MRA stand for and what country did the plan come from
Mark - 13/09/2022
Model Reduit d'Avion. French

MRA stands for model airplane and MRA was a French magazine that disappeared relatively recently. She is part of the Larivière group and is now associated with the review Model Magazine...

Hi Mark, density is one of my most endearing traits :) MRA is short for Modèle Réduit d'Avion (small aircraft models) was a French magazine that lasted for decades, until it was fused with Modèle Magazine a couple of years ago. You'll be able to find a few at www.rclibrary.co.uk and other places. Happy Landings!

l like the shape of it so planning on a 1400mm version with 2 ch control for my next build, there's no diheadral or spar shown but will sort that out
Mark - 14/09/2022
"...but will sort that out." I see an old hand here. Typically, people whine about the lack of this or that, but it seems to be the same since the first ARF hit the shop some six decades ago.
Damn, am I grumpy today :))

This plan was also published in the 1949 Aeromodeller annual as the Don Quixote, the Aeromodeller plan is much clearer and shows details such as the wing dihedral brace. I built one about 8 years ago but I can't remember much about it or even if it flew, the old grey cells are not as good as they used to be.

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
