Anybody got a clue what´s span of the stabilizer? I can´t find anything.Martin - 29/08/2022
You're right, the stab is not shown on this plan. It seems likely there were some more details (perhaps another drawing) included in the article pages. Olivier, do you still have the article?
SteveWMD - 29/08/2022
Yes, the rear wing is under the numbers 6 and 3. Typical of mra plans, everything is included...
Olivier - 29/08/2022
Um, I think that part is the wingtip. I mean I think that forms the end part of the main wing.

I actually have the plan but not the review. It comes from the magazine Mra n°70. For sale on ebay... Indeed, looking at the plan, there is an approximation. I will do some research...

I believe these MRA plans are inflatable, if you huff and puff for long enough they'll blow up into the right shapes and proportions.
This one is brilliant, the wing trailing edge was designed to coincide with the front fuselage outline!

Hello everbody, I can't find the stabilizer on the plan either. The ebay user 'greg4_fr' offers the magazin '28DN Revue MRA n°70 plan encarté Planeur de Bluzat / Peyret-Taupin' on ebay.fr for 8 EUR plus 2,60 EUR postage (guess outside france it would be some more): https://www.ebay.fr/itm/323963947458 If someone needs this, it might be helpful,
Greetings

Nothing in issue 70 of Mra.
Maybe in number 71 but I don't believe it...

The funny thing is that the wing tip that is drawn on the plan corresponds to the width of the rear ailerons. All that remains is to determine their surfaces in relation to the surface of the wings.... Calculation which must be on any old magazine explaining this...

One could take the Cigogna horizontal stabilizer design as an approach, see Cicogna (oz3294). Just adapt the dimensions by comparing the two wings.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
