Quote: "NA T-6 (15_20) - MOBRAL & DAEUBLE - COMPLETE U/C SCALE KIT PLAN VERSION IN CAD WITH PARTS BY SÉRGIO DAEUBLE.

Former C/L scale kit from Mobral Modelismo do Brasil of the NA T-6 Texan with a wingspan of 93 cm and made for engines in the .15 to .20 range. This kit was from the 60´s to 70´s period.

Despite being a expensive kit at the time and also with a elaborated building this kit was a desire of most of the U/C fliers from that period.

The work presented here was a very well made plan set by our friend Sérgio Alberto Daeuble with participation of another friend that is Edson Luiz Trierweiller from Blumenau/SC.

My best wishes and many thanks for the lovable couple Steve & Mary by the fantastic work made in Outerzone. Carlo"

The colour scheme in the model photos may look outlandish but it is correct, it was the one employed by the T-6s of the Brazilian AF acro-team "Esquadrilha da Fumaça", roughly the Smokey Squadron, see the scheme evolution at: https://www2.fab.mil.br/eda/index.php/2015-04-24-14-30-17?id=151
Nowadays the squadron rides the Embraer Super Tucano with a more evolved design.

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
