Mini Titino (oz13580)
About this Plan
Mini Titino. Radio control sport model. Wingspan 790 mm, for 1.5 to 2 cc engines and 2 or 3 channels.
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Quote: "After five years of search, thanks to the help of a friend, I was able to take measurements and redraw the plans of this little-beasty-fast-plane! We took dimensions and airfoil from the last known original model, still in order to fly.
The Mini Tititino is a very fast and agile model, powered by a 0.10-0.15 glow engine. It was a very cheap kit sold by "Modellismo Bettini", a Master of the Italian aeromodelling golden era. With this plane, you really can feel the adrenaline up your neck!
Unfortunately, being a plane of the '80 and '90, no kits nor plans can be found nowadays.
Originally the plans were not to scale and without details, so unusable to make a good reproduction.
His bigger friend, from the same designer, is the Titino (oz12235).
I also attach a scan [see pic 005] of a catalogue where it was sold. They wrongly used the name Titini Micro instead of Titino Mini.
Thanks and best regards! Alberto B"

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
