P-51D Mustang B1 (oz13445)
About this Plan
P-51D Mustang B1. Control line profile semi-scale model WWII fighter.
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Quote: "Dear Steve and Mary, Here we have a new project that was made by Sérgio Daeuble. This is a semi scale profile airplane with flapped wings P-51D Mustang designed by our very competent friend and modeller Sérgio Daeuble.
The model was made for engines in the .19 to .35 engines range and serves very well as a stunt trainer, sport flier, semi scale stunt trainer, profile semi scale model as well a good slow combat trainer. The wingspan of the model is 41-3/8 wingspan.
The prototype used a standard Fox 35 Stunt engine with very good results. Sergio is also working on a variation from this same design, but this second one will be with a flapless tappered wings, version with a wing design similar to the Ringmaster. The author nicknamed this version as Mustang B1 and the flapless version will be Mustang B2.
Many thanks to you by your excellent work in this excellent website that is Outerzone UK. Regards,"

ScaleType: This (oz13445) is a scale plan. Where possible we link scale plans to Wikipedia, using a text string called ScaleType.
If we got this right, you now have a couple of direct links (above) to 1. see the Wikipedia page, and 2. search Oz for more plans of this type. If we didn't, then see below.
Notes:
ScaleType is formed from the last part of the Wikipedia page address, which here is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_P-51_Mustang
Wikipedia page addresses may well change over time.
For more obscure types, there currently will be no Wiki page found. We tag these cases as ScaleType = NotFound. These will change over time.
Corrections? Use the correction form to tell us the new/better ScaleType link we should be using. Thanks.

Dear Brazilian modellers, caros amigos brasileiros, have there ever been modelplans in your country for the CAP-4 Paulistinha and the CAP-5 Carioquinha? Where can these plans be ordered? As an ardent aficionado to Brazilian aircraft I always had the wish to build flying copies of both of these little planes. I'm shure other modelbuilders would also be interested.
Many thanks and obrigado muito!

Dear Robert. Sérgio is finishing the vectorization of the plans from the "Paulistinha 09" controline semi scale model com Aerobras, a classic model from Aerobras. We will share the plans here at Outerzone. Please send me your email account so I can send you some plans. Best Wishes, Carlo

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
