Olympic II Electric (oz13439)
About this Plan
Olympic II Electric. Radio control sailplane model for electric power.
Note the original Olympic II (oz5116) was an Airtronics kit, circa 1976. This here is a modern redrawn plan that shows a modified design with brushless electric power.

Quote: "Hi Steve, attached is new set of plans for the above Airtonics kit from the seventies. I have redrawn the original plans and converted it to brushless motor power. The airfoil also has been modernised with an AG-35 section. The ribs are drawn at 100% thickness with optional 115% ribs for a thicker wing which some may prefer.
The original plane was a great floater but did not like the wind when it got stronger than a light breeze, hence the section change. I have drawn the origional wing section and it is available if wanted. Regards from Western Australia,"
Did we get something wrong with these details about this plan (especially the datafile)?
That happens sometimes. You can help us fix it.

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
