About this Plan

Jasco Spotter Bipe.

Quote: "BUILDING INSTRUCTIONS. INTRODUCTION: This Model is intended for the beginner, and so long as the following instructions are followed stage by stage, and studied carefully in conjunction with the plan before starting construction no difficulties should be encountered. Performance, as with any model aeroplane, is relative to the ability of the builder; the better the workmanship, the better the performance. And, finally, a word of advice, don't rush the job. Correcting errors through hurrying will take as much time as working steadily. Don't set yourself a time limit; if you do manage to finish the job in record time in order to 'fly it tomorrow,' you will probably be disappointed by adverse weather conditions. Take your time, and have a model that you can be proud of... "

Quote: "Dear Mary, Here's the Jasco Spotter Bipe. I did build one of these and it flew very well on rubber power and the red FROG prop that came with the kit. Cheers, Adrian."

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
