Note the kit included some moulded plastic parts for the nose and cowling (see pic 003). These parts have no formers shown and would have to be built from scratch.

I was very interested to see the 'Humbrol' version of this kit.
Only a matter of weeks ago, I received a part built kit of this same Piper 'Super Cruiser' from my late father in law's estate, and I am in the middle of completing this model.
The interesting part is that my kit is from 'Kyosho', a Japanese manufacturer. The box lid photo and the decal sheet appear to be the same, however most of the kit box writing plus the plans are in Japanese. For interest, I will send in a couple of photos of the 'Kyosho' kit I that have and of the model in it's present state.
Please keep up the great work you do on this fantastic web site, it is my 'go to site' for model plans!! Many thanks and Cheers to all.

One thing I forgot to mention in my previous comment. If you build this model, there is a parts layout shown on the plan, just below the fuselage side view. The fuselage formers can be easily scaled up to suit from this parts layout drawing.

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
