Direct submission to Outerzone.
Quote: "Hello, I am a French model aircraft maker and I am sending you the blueprint of a free flight glider, the AS 25. I built a RC version of this model a little larger than the original (2.5m) which flies very well. I have the plans of the radio-controlled models made in CAD. I'll clean them up and send them to you with more photos. I really appreciate your site where I was able to find models that marked my beginnings in aeromodelling. Cordially,"
Note: have split this listing into 2 now. This here is the original 1942 plan. For Laurent's modern redrawn RC version (and CAD files), see AS 25 2600 (oz13040)
Did we get something wrong with these details about this plan (especially the datafile)?
That happens sometimes. You can help us fix it.

User commentsDoes anyone know when this glider was originally designed and published? I am wondering if it qualifies for SAM competition.
Thanks, Simon Blake

Is there a Cad drawing for the larger version?

Not here, not yet. But Laurent said he is cleaning it up, so should be here soon. Fingers crossed.

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
