About this Plan

G-88, G-99 wing.

Note this is not a plan for a complete airframe. This is a wing plan. This plan shows only the wing(s).

Note this plan shows parts and layout for a choice of two different spans at 88 and 99 inch.

Quote: "Mary, OK.. as I mentioned... this was, I believe, a wing kit that Zaic sold, and that Lee Renaud used in his first kit at Airtronics. But I also believe it was a optional version, for the Zaic RC Floater, that you have posted as RC Floater G-110 (oz12121).

Steve, In my search for a Floater 110 kit, I found a wing kit and the plan sheet. These were drawn by Frank Zaic, with credit to Lee Renaud, after he had moved out to California. You may want to post these along with the RC Floater G-110. I believe the one currently posted is a G-110F (flat bottom airfoil). This one has all of the alternate under-cambered 6409 airfoil ribs.

From the notation re minimum sink, THIS is the FLOATER wing! LOL I will get some of the plywood end ribs scanned and send those in asap! Thanks again for a great plan service! JWR"

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
