Quote: "Hi Mary, Steve, I’ve attached the plan for the Concept Electric Fleet kit. The kit was produced around 1990. I bought the kit along with the required Astro 40 motor and nicads. It did not take me to long to realize with the weight of the motor and batteries this plane would not last long with me flying it. I still have the kit. With todays brushless motors and batteries it would come out at least 50% lighter. I know several were built with four strokes in them."
Update 14/02/2021: Caution. There is some distortion on this scan, running down the RH edge. This stretches the RH wing tip, also the tail section. Advise extreme caution. Check all measurements. Currently the RH wing panel is 1/2 in longer then the LH. Many thanks to theshadow for pointing this out. I have spent a while looking at this, and it is beyond my skill to correct the geometry of this scan with any confidence. If anyone else wants to have a go at this, we have a copy of the raw uncleaned scan to work with. Steve.
Update 24/02/2021: Replaced this scan with a corrected version, thanks to PaulDallimore.
Quote: "As a result of the above note I've attached a revised plan offering. The wings are somewhat more symmetrical after some attempt at correcting distortion from the print machine stretch / slippage. The wings apparently were slightly bowed too, presumably unintentionally, so I un-bowed them. Viewing in the pdf viewer and flipping between the original plan and the attached revision should show you the revisions in more detail.
I didn't check the other areas of the plan in great detail, but got the impression that it was originally a very well crafted drawing that was rearranged in a wobbly print machine...."

ScaleType: This (oz12788) is a scale plan. Where possible we link scale plans to Wikipedia, using a text string called ScaleType.
If we got this right, you now have a couple of direct links (above) to 1. see the Wikipedia page, and 2. search Oz for more plans of this type. If we didn't, then see below.
ScaleType is formed from the last part of the Wikipedia page address, which here is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleet_Model_1
Wikipedia page addresses may well change over time.
For more obscure types, there currently will be no Wiki page found. We tag these cases as ScaleType = NotFound. These will change over time.

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
