Quote (google-translated from the German): "The glider model that we have already announced, the first construction was given the name 'Orion', the second the name 'Zephir', which the model will now finally bear, is characterized not only by its exceptionally beautiful lines, it has even more 'in itself' - which will certainly please the model building enthusiast.
Our building plan is on a scale of 1:2, the original drawing at a scale of 1:1 can be obtained from our building plan service at a price of 5 DM. However, it can be said that the model can also be built in the size specified here, and that it is also attractive and easy to fly. however, in this case, of course, the remote control is not required. And now for the description of the construction.
The fuselage: We place a piece of transparent paper on the side view of the fuselage in such a way that it is completely covered. The torso straps 29 are now pinned in place with a few pins and the connecting strips 30 fitted and glued in place. We then attach the shaping bar 31. Once the two fuselage sides have been made in this way, we cut out parts 32 and 33 and glue them to the fuselage side parts.
After the glue has dried completely, we take a work board, place white paper on it, draw a center line and cut out the fuselage crossbars 29a that can be seen from the top view. Now we lay the fuselage side parts upside down on the work board, slant the end of the fuselage a little for better gluing and glue the two fuselage side parts together with plenty of UHU-hart using the fuselage cross strips. Everything is held in place with pins and rubber bands until it is completely dry.
Now that we have the fuselage in a slipway, let's continue working. Next we attach the fuselage reinforcement 34, cut out the fuselage frames 14-28 and fasten these at the indicated points. Now we attach the runner with the reinforcement 39a as well as the tow hook 39 and the auxiliary fin 44 with the spur 45.
During the drying time, we cut out the fuselage frames 1-13, bend the wing attachment 52 with part 53 according to the drawing and sew them to frames 4 and 6 as shown by the striddinie in these parts.
We can also now roughly cut the tail unit support 46 from a block. It is advisable to use very soft balsa for this purpose. When the fuselage is dry, we take it out of the slipway and glue on the already finished fuselage frames 1-13. (Please note Sections B-B and C-C) Before proceeding to this work, however, it is advisable to make one piece out of the fuselage top chords and joints 35 and 36. We proceed in exactly the same way as with the fuselage side panels.
Once the gluing of this part has dried, it is placed on the hull frames that have already been glued in and glued in place. We can now finish sanding and glue part 46. Now we attach the planking 37 and 40. As can be seen from sections B-B and C-C, a wing transition made of medium-hard balsa is glued onto the planking 37. This part is not marked on the top view..."

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
