About this Plan

Mustang. Profile control line model for 2.5 - 3.5 cc engines. Wingspan 990 mm.

Quote: "Hi Mary and Steve, I hope you are well. Take care of yourselves. The quarantine has searched all those models that were asleep in their boxes as kits or just started and had not been finished. COVID 19 and its quarantine has caused many to be terminated, I decided to give all of them serial 68 to remind me of the year we were unable to fly in the spring. This model is the P51 Mustang made for Sebastian Pacheco's Barcelona store and drawn the plan by my good friend Coello, I decided to put an old Webra Mach I on it and it is still not flying, I will keep sending photos of the 68 series, home confinement. Un saludo y cuidaros,"

Update 22/07/2020: Added vectorPDF and CAD (dxf and dwg) versions of this plan, thanks to Valeria367.

Quote: "Three weeks ago, you published the plan of Speedy-Pacheco's Mustang (oz12313), the .15 C/L trainer, drawn by one of my clubmates: Jose Luis Coello. Today I send you my CAD redraw of this plan, I've been working on for the past few days. As usual, it's in PDF format, and in both vector CAD formats: DWG and DXF. Best wishes from your friend,"

    Notes:
    ScaleType is formed from the last part of the Wikipedia page address, which here is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_P-51_Mustang
    Wikipedia page addresses may well change over time.
    For more obscure types, there currently will be no Wiki page found. We tag these cases as ScaleType = NotFound. These will change over time.

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
