About this Plan

MOVO M-11 Breda 39 Early. Rubber sport scale model. Wingspan 840 mm.

Note the MOVO M-11 plan appeared in 2 forms, which we are calling Early and Late. The early version (1936) seems to use ply wing ribs and a one-piece wing spar. The late version (1952) seems to use balsa wing ribs and a more complex (assembled) wing spar. There are other differences of detail between fuselage formers, fuselage crutch, etc. Parts numbering scheme is also changed.

This here is the early version. For the late version, see M-11 Breda 39 Late (oz11718).

Quote: "Attached original 1936 plans for M-11. as you can see two sheets, M and N. Your [late] plan seems to be rearranged in M single plan. I don't know if 100/100 original from Movo or redrawn by someone. Could be a secondary redrawn by MOVO for post-war balsa building.
Note the different scavenged ribs, and the particular 16 in which a sliding counterweight is used to balance the CG point, and the internal rubber band wings retainer. Construction in hardwood, not balsa. In any case it's a scale Breda 39, M-11 it's the kit/plan Movo number. Regards Pit"

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
