Big Stik 40 (oz11473)
About this Plan
Big Stik 40. Radio control sport model. Wingspan 59 in, wing are 690 sq in.
Discontinued kit from Great Planes.
Note the full (28 page) kit manual for the Big Stik (for all three kits at 20, 40 and 60 size) is available as a free download from http://www.greatplanes.com/manuals/discontinued.html
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Update 03/08/2021: Removed sheet #3 showing parts templates, at request of Mark Robey, who drew up that sheet.
Note: This was a kit plan, so the kit box would have included all the physical parts, as printwood. So a kit-builder had no need for drawings of the parts. But taking this plan now and approaching it as a scratch builder, I think sheets 1 and 2 show all the detail you need. All the ribs and all the fuselage bulkheads are shown. Steve.
Corrections?
Did we get something wrong with these details about this plan (especially the datafile)?
That happens sometimes. You can help us fix it.

Here is my Big Stik 40 [pics 005-007]. Just finished it. It was a surprisingly quick build. It is powered with an older Enya 53 four stroke and will still fly with a 72 megahertz Futaba 9CAP. It's waiting for spring for the maiden flight.Dave Petre - 09/01/2023

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
