Ryan PT-20 (oz10880)
About this Plan
Ryan PT-20. Rubber scale model primary trainer. Wingspan 21 in. From the Frog Deluxe Scale series.
This great quality scan, including full printwood, is hosted at the excellent House of Frog site by Mike Stuart.
Quote: "Thanks to the kindness of Adrian Culf, who sent me an original kit all the way from Canada, I am delighted to present the missing model from the De-Luxe Scale series, the Ryan PT-20. Having an actual kit to copy, as opposed to photocopies of the wood, made tracing the die cut parts accurately much easier.
Four die cut sheets of parts are in the kit, two of which are duplicated. Three sheets in this example were nice light wood, with only the one containing the tailplane being a bit on the heavy side (not ideal)...
Thanks once again to Andrew Darby for scanning the plan as a single sheet for me."
Did we get something wrong with these details about this plan (especially the datafile)?
That happens sometimes. You can help us fix it.

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
