About this Plan
Ultra Stik 54. Radio control sport model, for electric power. Wingspan 54 in, wing area 604 sq in. Plan shows GForce 4250 800 kV motor, with 3300 lipo battery.
Quote: "Hey Steve and Mary, I've been remiss in sending plans because I've been building mostly out of foam. I see that there's not an Ultra Stik available. And it seems that nobody has the plans from Tower. So, I did a 54 inch electric version. Hope you like them. I've included some photos and the link to the flying video is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2y9DJ_U-x1w Charlie"
Note. This is a modern plan drawn up from scratch. PDFvector format.
Note: The original "Ultra Stick" had different spelling.

Everybody says they've not found a bad Ugly Stick so far in over fifty years, and that's true for me. I bought an Ultra Stick 25e from a show six years ago, and it both looks better and flies better than the originals, except possibly the Graupner Middle Stick from a few decades ago. That was beautifully drawn up and superbly engineered so its worth tracking down a copy, if only to drool over the quality of the drawing.I've not yet built this version but I'm sure it will be fine to fly. The Graupner Stick has the advantage of being in metric, though, for the 6.5 billion of us not using feet.

hello. can you help me? I want ultra stick25e plan ,but I did not find any plan. have you ultra stick25e 3D plan?

There isn't a drawing in the kit, at least not in the three kits that I bought. But this plan is as close as needs be.
But they all fly well, so select the one that suits your motor and batteries.
If in doubt go for the Graupner Middle Stick, its by far the best quality drawing, and the aircraft is superbly engineered.

Hey charlie,
Trivial question, trying to recreate your design and would like to know what rubber band you are using to secure the wing ? If you have a link/name. Thank you

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
