Champ Mark IV (oz10521)
About this Plan
Livewire Champ Mark IV. Radio control sport trainer model, for either glow (.15-35) or electric power. A tribute to Hal deBolt. This is a modern updated design, based on the classic Hal DeBolt Midwest model.
Quote: "This is the Mark IV Champ. It is based on the Midwest Livewire Champ Mark III (oz413) plans that you host, and in fact the builder should consult those plans for the stab construction and general notes. It may be built either glow (I'm using an OS .25) or electric (Power 15, 3S 2200). The build thread is found here: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?3121152. A laser kit should be available from Manzano in a few days. Andy"
This plan is designed for laser cutting, with tab and slot construction.

Update 19/10/2018: Replaced this planfile with revised version (Version oz30), also added bill of materials, thanks to AndyKunz.
Note this latest version of the planfile shows full details and parts for 3 different wings that can be used on the model, so as a simple 3 channel type, or with ailerons, or with ailerons and flaps.

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
