About this Plan

Lazy Bee Sport. Radio control sport model.

This appears to be a faithful hand drawn copy of the Clancy Aviation Lazy Bee (oz2278) design, but shows only the later enlarged 48 inch wing, rather than the original shorter 40inch span.

Scan from DBHL, cleanup by theshadow.

ref DBHL-7427.

The plan for Lazy Bee had no image, but here come some from my #132 Lazy Bee built 2012/Nov [model photo & more pics 003-006]. It was built of Depron 3&6 mm sheets, frames by ply and balsa, spars by spruce & balsa. Some datas: span 40" (1050mm), weight including 2300mAh 3S 880 grams, motor DYS 2822-12(230W), 8"x6", ESC 18A, 3 chanels (T,E,R). It's a very nice model to fly when it's calm. A real slowflyer still going strong!

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
