Bean Machine. A Bostonian for beginners. Designed and drawn by DJ Lindley, May 1989. Redrawn in TurboCAD by Steve Moskal, Sept 2018. Quote: "In the late 80s, a loose confederation of Chicago area indoor free flight modelers was led by Don Lindley. He was a mentor in many ways and loved it when kids came to watch us fly in Building K at the College of DuPage. He would simply hand them the Peck Polymer ROG kit, tell them how easy it was to build and encourage them to return and fly them at the next weekly session. Don drew up the Bean Machine as the next step. They proved great little fliers no matter the level of a builder's craftsmanship. I decided to honor Don’s memory with a CAD rendering of his original Bostonian plan." Direct submission to Outerzone.
