About this Plan

Miss 38 - Free flight sport model.

Quote: "...by Vic Smeed. It's the Miss 38 a vintage style model that can also be used with radio assist. This is a very attractive model as with all Vic Smeed designs and with 45 inch wingspan a practical size to fit in the car before heading to the flying field. It has been posted before but only as a poor quality JPeg not suitable I imagine to enlarge as a workable plan. It was printed at 1/7th scale."

Update 13/02/2017: added article, thanks to TonyC.

Have scaled this one up x7 to full-size then saved it as a 300dpi pdf. The quality now is not great, I mean the text is not all that readable, but that's just down to the way it was printed on the paper originally, there isn't that much detail to be had.

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
